There’s been a thread here on these issues, I think the problem there turned out to be ceramic timing caps. Anything of that sort going on for you?

3340 stripboard - pulse width detuning

Hi Gang, hope everyone is doing alright in these crazy times I’ve built Sam’s 3340 VCO strip board 2 separate times, and both times I have problems with the PWM detuning the oscillator. I’ve even breadboard it and I have the same issue. All of the features work fine, I can calibrate it to track 1v/OCT, but if I touch the PWM pot or the PW pot it will slightly detune the frequency of the oscillator. I would consider myself an intermediate to semi-advanced DIY’er, I’ve quadruple ch…

I’ll have to do a bit of a deeper dive into these and poke around.

Also, I have yet to mod my routemaster with the extended ground - I’ll have to take the whole thing out again to get to the back side. I hard wired things in and am regretting it - I think the screw terminal barrel jacks might have been the way to go after all.
