I believe that’s the Befaco Excalibus

i always find it neat when people build their cases narrow and vertical rather than wide and horizontal!
I went with the latter option because I had the space, but man, i can see that working as a great space saver!

Its J for Josh

I think it’s a dodgy screen, haven’t been passed to change it, I’ve just learnt what the mysterious symbols mean

Yeah it is! Got a few of them on Sam’s recommendation

It’s great but the power switch and Jack input are on the board so would have to extend to make it pretty in your case

I just cut a hole for the brick and figure I can get super long IEC’s if I want

Also reason for vertical build is that I love a bit of height on my synth, I’ll probably end up with a double wide one this height if Sam makes enough modules

Up there with the greatest!

(I suspect future historians will have a lot more trouble cracking musical cryptograms based on dodgy 7-segment displays than the earlier ones using german notation.)

I’ve toyed with the idea of using my 45U server rack frame, but really the ideal layout is square so that cables will reach more places. If you do a second one, of course, you’ve got that issue sorted.

My son working on a patch, note the custom artwork he provided for the Clouds module.

All those knobs. Its like controlling your own personal space craft.

This is the state of my set-up at the moment. I use the Kosmo format but I scribble my own panels and they’re not as artistic as Sam Battle’s designs. Just functional I guess

Eddy,

It’s impressive to me because it evokes a board in a bakery or a beer bar (both sell gluten) and I’m reading it to choose what loaf or growler I’ll take home.

Really just have the case complete so far. I have a few of each module from the LMNC store, and the hex inverter NeinOhNein PCBs that I need to buy components for everything but I don’t have work atm because of the pandemic so I’m on hold for now! :stuck_out_tongue: In due time though!

Looking sharp! You have all of the Oh Nein PCB’s? I just have the BD.

looks good , nice and heavy duty . would watch the weight on that stand though .

Yeah it’s a concern for sure. A heavier duty stand is definitely on the list of things to get.

Thank you! Yup all the PCBs. Even have the AteOhAte toms too. I can’t find a video of the toms at all so eventually I’ll make one.

Nice! One note on the BD, the trigger in is quite picky. If it isn’t just right, it doesn’t sound right. I solved the problem by putting one of Sam’s simple AD/AR generators in front of it.
