Huh, I went to aliexpress and they opted me into the russian site for some reason, and when I clicked “english” one of the top offers was “polish girls”
(russian text was Лак Для Девочек which I think means “nail polish”)
There must be someone here Who is at work at the electronics components selling/ordering firm!?
Or his friend.
So instead of everyone looking for cheap components single self, there could be schema and list of what you need on the thing, and order button where you could buy that whole set, and click more stuff too what they bring your home.
A little anecdote about this, lately I ONLY wanted to order strip PCBs, but as it always is, I ordered 1000 other things, but no PCBs … I noticed that about 2 hours later and had to order another one do. so again delivery costs … Getsren arrived a larger package with all the components AND the PCBs in it. In the bag with the PCBs was a smaller bag with 2 two euro coins. That’s what I call customer service! They are also very quick. I ordered the parts on Saturday afternoon and they were on Monday
already there!
So I’m finding it a faff to do all the wiring for the ground on panels with lots of jacks. I’ve noticed Sam using bare wire and just threading it through all the components in his videos - if I wanted some of that, what is it I’m looking for? I’ve googled around a bit but all the results are copper wire for jewellery making, and if that’s what I’m thinking of it might be too thick/inflexible.
I use 0.6mm jewellery wire in really tiny constructions that require much more flexibility than a traditional circuit board. It works just fine and it cost me £2.60 for 10 metres. And it’s pretty!
