My VCLFO build. Help!

My first stab at my VCLFO build has run into a bit of a snag. While I am attempting to figure out what is wrong (trouble shooting suggestions are most welcome) I have few questions -

Does the switch orientation matter?
Is there a final word on ferrite beads? Can you just skip them and put some bare wire in their place?

Switch orientation doesn’t matter.

Ferrite beads probably don’t do squat.

I picked up a bunch of 10r’s to use instead of ferrite beads (as per the BOM)
just waiting on lil skinny boy potentiometers and then ill be able to build lol

Would subbing a 2n2222 for the bc547 cause the entire module to not work?

No idea, but I do know they (at least in the TO-92 packaging) have different pinouts. 2n2222 is E-B-C, BC547 is C-B-E. (Actually I didn’t know that but I looked up the datasheets.) So you’d have to mount it facing the “wrong” way.

I flipped it around but no luck. I’m sure it helped, I just have to figure out what else I missed.

I re-flowed some things and now I have just the - LED lighting up. Progress?
