Ooh $hit it does. I have a mate who used to work for arturia (Guy from the Midwinter Minis on YouTube) he got me into pigments and almost every time I’ve used it I want buttons and an analogue project. Luckily the maths (math is not a word) is not too difficult and with smd I reckon an analogue wavetable is scalable. Ok im game. Im off to look at stuff now… I may be some time.
Today I built a VCF (MS20 with Hi & Lo pass), an AS3340 VCO with everything that goes well (H&S sync, Tune & fine tune, FM, PW, PWM, 2 CVin …), and a few other little things, painting a panel, cutting and bending some aluminum to make some mini squares for perpendicular mounting of some stripboards.
Slacker!
… I do not have but need the words to post
VCF and VCO was not a Passive Multiple !
That case is damn sweet. Do the pegs fit snuggly? What method did you use? I remember seeing earlier these designs, but unsure what route you went with.
I will volunteer to do all of the smd soldering work if you put the designs together. I can be a teamplayer. Oh and math is a word My “math” book says so
not super tight, - the holes on the board are 4.9mm dia. and the width of the spade is 4.8mm.
I designed the hole to accommodate both Johnson bananas as well as 4mm Bullet Connectors.
They go through the panel and are soldered to the board as any through hole part is.
Today I finished the #1157 Mini ADSR and put a spare connector and label in the Link connector of the vco.
Great label.
Today i’ve passed a lot of hours on my “Dual CV Joystick / wheel”, …hard but finish.
( @Farabide, yes i know just 1 module today = mega slacker ! )
dam didn’t see your question that day about the circuit benders drumBs modules . bought just the pcb’s going to make a kosmo size panels .
like the label can’t miss that !
That red is astounding! Very 70‘s Yamaha organ.
Thank you! The inside and tops are pink. I originally was going to make it all pink, but ehhh I ran out of pink spray paint so used red, and then the red looked better, so thought I’d commit hah.
I originally bought pink shelves for the sides as they are 80cm, but… it turns out they weren’t meant to be drilled into, and split. lol.
What i do for woods that might split is use smaller drills and step up to larger ones. Doesnt always work, but it helps a lot.
Don’t come at me with your logic!!
It split when I screwed it together. I should have foreseen it when it was literally dust as I drilled hah.
It was probably for the best anyway, as it meant the whole case is now the same wood/dimensions etc. Just wish I hadn’t spent the cash on the wood at first ha. Live and learn…
Had two days off and my pcbs just arrived so I just went head first…
OBA and Braids are not finished, I didn’t get the right Bicolor LEDs of course… And my Stm32 for the through hole braids is taking it’s sweet time from china.
The rest should be OK, they go into their respective cases tomorrow.
Yes, I know, I had posted the video a few days before you and I know the link, but if you plan to have the PCB manufactured, I would be happy if you let me know. I would then take one or two when there is left.
