I would suggest the next thing you build (you are a prolific builder anyway), is a reverb and append that to your audio chain. You will be surprised!

This is the second time it has been mentioned to me - i will definitely look into it.
I am extremely green when it comes to recording and audio and such.
I usually just produce noise - but I guess the noise is starting to become structured haha.
