Does anyone have any more modules that use the on/off/momentary switchs from Sam’s mini ADSR? there was a miscommunication when I asked my wife to order them with her eBay account. I wanted 7, and I got 7 packs of 5.
Did the same thing when I ordered bananas from Amazon’s Prime Now recently.
Got six bunch of six instead of six bananas. Fortunately it was before social distancing and I managed to give a couple of bunches away.
after I get this delay and midi - cv down thats the next one! thinking of making single thin ones. thin like the vca’s so they end up dual. delay will be out in 2 weeks I think ish. midi cv maybe 3 weeks after that then hopefully safety valve after that, if you can wait that long!
I got the mfos simple quanitizer to pair up with my LMNC sequencer. It’s gonna be nice but made me realize I really need to get the tuning on my VCOs better and a new multimeter to get the quantizer as close as possible. I thought my VCOs were pretty tuned in but plugging in keyboard they are off by a half step per octave at the moment. Both seem to be very precise positions!
This is great Jos. Thanks. I got through both videos only to realize part 3 hasn’t been created yet Something like this was ideally what I was after. However, I would take a micro-controller arpeggiator too…sshhhhhh
Will you be using github, so that maybe people can get involved in the programming or fork your code and make their own variants (which you may want to incorporate in your design)?
had a thought today that an interconnectivity panel would be amazing
some kind of massive conversion matrix
1/4 to banana - banana to 1/4
1/4 to 3.5 - 3.5 to 1/4
so like a buffered multiple but with all the options, could probably fit quite a few in a Kosmo panel and would really open it up for some of us with other systems
Would be quite easy to literally just make a giant collection of buffered multiples and simply wire all three kinds of jacks in parallel to every in and out.
I still haven’t made my conversion module, I have the behringer pro-1 that uses 3.5, would be fun to throw into the kosmo mix at some point or vice versa. If I had eurorack stuff I’m sure I would have done it already. I was thinking like @ChristianBloch, although I wasn’t planning on banana jacks—but that makes no difference. A passive multiple with different sized jacks is probably what you are looking for, just have to be careful sending voltage to something that shouldn’t be receiving
cool! yeah I mean definitely doable. I recon you could just put in twice the circuitry back to front. I could be wrong and have never tried!! like 1 voltage follower (the circuit in a buffered multiple)) going from 1 source to the other, then another one wired backwards… no idea! ,might work. I have a couple of small utility modules coming same time as the midi 2 cv in a couple of weeks but nothing big and fancy like your saying!!! sounds cool tho! got a few silly big modules coming up trying to get sorted tho. proper funky, dont think they have been dont quite in the arrangement but… well lets see! however conversion definitely needs to be something!!!
I was thinking you would have one plug of each kind on the input and one or more of each kind on the output. Not quite the same as having each one work as either input or output. You could do that as a passive multiple.
I’m fond of this summing mixer to buffered multiple:
You could just triple the jacks to make it multi format.
