Silkscreen mistake on this one will call for a revision

No idea if i will ever get this mixer to work. It pipes together other people’s circuits and i have no real experience with SMD.

Jlcpcb order… I have about 140 modules to make. We’ll see how far I get before taking another 3 year hiatus. Just waiting for the jack sockets to arrive. And some less important knobs…

And a huge case, obviously…

I intend to sell some to offset my cost a bit… But that’s at least 6 months in the future. So a decently huge case… I have about 320hp right now.

Looks like Erika DIY, yes? I’ve got two sets that I hope to assemble as gifts before next Christmas. Best of luck! I like to work in parallel, taking 5 or so modules at the time and do all 2xxx resistors, then all 3xxx, etc. Probably even faster if you’re doing 20 identical VCOs all at once.

Yes! Going to make 1 of each and then start assembling more.

The package from JLCPCB arrived today. This is my first set of boards and panels I have ever done this way. The quality is fantastic. Thankyou to everyone that stepped me through the ordering process. The building will commence soon. I might sell some on to other people in Australia…maybe. Hit me up if you are interested in a Hero VCO. Look pretty pictures.

I didn’t notice the white thing on the panel next to the PWM hole while taking the photo. I checked when I got home today and it was just a bit of Styrofoam from the packing.

A colleague dropped this off by my office when he found out that I am interested in trying out my luck with Arduinos. He’s been using these to teach students programming sensors for mobile applications.

A stuck-in-the-60s signal generator from the British Vintage Wireless Society swapmeet at Biggleswade today.
This one has been modified with a mains PSU, so I might wait until I’m feeling a bit braver before I plug it in.
