Kosmodrome reloaded! And I’m out of knurlies.
Its a thing 'o beauty!
Mount the joystick module upside down (jacks at the top), joystick at the bottom", add an “inverted” Mikrokosmo on each side, and you’ll see why I wanted them “inverted”… no cables in the way of your arm to the “User Interface” controls…
I thought about that too late. In fact thought about a version of the front panel printed one way on one side and the other way on the other side. Wire the joystick differently to keep the +x and +y directions the same.
This looks nice! But in the meanwhile I’m getting more and more curious about what noise / music it will make …
Hey Everyone, New person here! Is the KOSMO format just all DIY stuff??
Thanks!
https://www.kosmodulargrid.com/ we’ve got a bunch now!
Thank you! Ive been sneaking around on here for awhile just doing strip board stuff! Thanks! Is there a section that is just verified stripboard layouts?
There’s also a thread for Buy/Sell/Trade of PCB/panels:
You are the best! Thanks!!
I think we all need to do more more Kosmo evangelism this year! It’s the best format! It’s big! It’s fun!
That looks like a great cabinet! More pictures, details of the build, please?
Very clean! Looks like you’re almost running out of space there
Nice ! welcome to the forum
It is composed of the precision vco with the funky Filter, the midimuso and the mini enveloppe. The case is un birch ply with box joints and I 3d printed the rails for fixing the modules. I think im gonna stain it cacao Brown to make it more low profile. Now i want to build the ultimate pad machine (polyphonic) and im think i want to build the sinc’o da vco from Spectrum diy and adapt it for 1/4 Jacks and better knobs clearance. Whats your build suggestions for a 6 voices synth is There a vca that have only one adsr but 6 différents and indépendant triggers and output. Thanks for the feedback. Élie, Québec
