Maybe later
for the moment I am still in a period of learning and still discovering the complex modular world.
Still a lot of thing to understand, to analyze and test, to go more in depth in the possibilities of each module, often that I use in a simple and intuitive way.
Like any instrument i must work it, with fun of course
This looks absolutely stunning! Are the signals color coded? How do you keep track of all the connections and what they are supposed to do?
Thx !
I tried but never enough of the same color, … I gave up the idea.
For the tracks I memorize the path of each voice (mainly the VCA, Filter and Env), often there are around 12 voices entering the mixer table.
And I repeat the song to find out who I need to trigger …
So yes sometimes it’s complicated, I follow a cable with my fingers to the target to find myself there
Dud, is that a flux capacitor up there? if so how much to go back to the 80’s please ? lol
Yes Doc ! it is
I would also like to make a Tradis but too big I have no room
HOLD MY DOG, how did i not see all this awesomeness b4… !
You just gotta think small
its bigger on the inside at least.
Yeah, really, it might be better if instead of putting a TARDIS in his synth room, @Dud puts his synth room in a TARDIS.
Very nice build
Looks amazing !! Did you add blue leds inside ?
Great looking rack. I’m so used to seeing Kosmo recessed to protect the hardware but this looks very slick
@Dud Thank you very much, I’m a big admirer of all the modules you’ve created, I’m hoping to build some of the designs you’ve shared when I start the next one
@Bpbby Thank you! The blue LEDs are from the power supply, I didn’t realise they were going to shine through like that while building but it ended up creating a pretty cool effect.
@Farabide Thank you! Thought I’d try something a bit different. I won’t be taking it on tour anytime soon so hopefully it’ll be fine
If you don’t have cats or small children it should be fine, and if you ever decide to go on tour you could make a lid that has clearance!
No cats or kids or tour for me, so I don’t recess mine either, and it makes it a lot easier to screw in modules and to use knobs and jacks mounted close to the edges.
That looks stunning!
It really is terrific looking. Great job!
I like how it just blends in with the rest of the furniture so well.
