My old man had the Jeff Wayne War of The Worlds on vinyl. I used to love listening to that thing as a kid.
As an adult I picked up a digital copy, plus some remix things from the 2000s:

Never heard of Edith Frost. She’s on Mastodon and pouring out the most eclectic series of YouTube links. Her sense of humour and her reminiscences about life on the road are great. She had an Ob-8 at one time and expounds on the frank implausibility of the form factor: “you needed to get a golf cart to move from one end of the keyboard to the other.”

She also mentions Nord and SH-101, but I don’t value her stream-of-consciousness posts for her experience with famous synths. Lots of revelations. Ewan McColl wrote The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (the famous Roberta Flack hit) for his fellow folkie Peggy Seager; I didn’t see that coming.
