I’m no EE. I didn’t realize that a low pin on a microcontroller connected to ground instead of floating until three years ago.

I had a few Smart cars, had to get something else when they went 100% electric, because my flat doesn’t have its own off road parking. Shame… I had old shape diesel, old shape petrol and new shape petrol.

They are fine cars aside from the danger of being completely annihilated if you get hit.

Dangerous or weak, they are not. Some of the smallest cars are the safest, think F1 car vs Land rover. I’d rather be in a high speed crash in a F1. Ok, it’s designed for high speed crashes, but the same principles apply to a smart, and the layout isn’t that different from a F1.

its not the size, its the lack of crumple zones. Id love to be wrong about that though.
