Thanks !

But would it make a difference to use the stereo ones in all of them ?

How do i see whats to use ?

No.
All of Sam’s module’s PCBs are designed for stereo jacks.

Thanks alot !
Then ill go for them
And compare them to the Thonk ones !
Ordering from both sites will clear up the hustle.

Thonk doesn’t make it abundantly clear which PJ612A they’re selling. Stereo, but with tip normal (PJ612A-B), ring normal (PJ612A-F), neither (PJ612A-D), or both (PJ612A-A)? If the photo is accurate it’s PJ612A-A, with five terminals, and that’s what Tayda sells as well (or rather its equivalent).

Any of the above will fit the footprints, and any will work in most cases. Other than for a headphone jack on an output module the ring/ring normal terminals aren’t usually used (mono vs stereo). But the tip normal terminal is used sometimes, so you want to make sure you have at least some with that.

FYI you get those for 0.27 EUR from reichelt.de

Well thats very interesting xD !

I literally ordered from Thonk a few minutes ago.
Have you tried them ?

Not yet, they arrived today but are feeling and looking good

Are you sure they fit onto the pcb ?
The contacts look really big or am i mistaking ?

Ah sorry I misunderstood, these are not meant to be soldered on the PCB.

Yeah i talked about tht components for the Kosmo Modules.
Or are we double mistaking each other xD ?

I thought it’s about the “switching” property (and price tag), never mind

I’m just posting this here, for people who would like to build a spring reverb module at cheapy price !!

The reverb tank only for 13€ :upside_down_face:

This is VERY relevant to my interests - does anybody know of any DIY circuits for driving a generic tank like this? I have seen some, but they all require specific tanks.

Maybe here

Mentioned there was this

which (according to the page) is designed for a specific tank, but that tank is available for not much more than the AliExpress one from Antique Electronic Supply
https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/reverb-tank-mod-4fb3a1b-long-decay-2-spring
(they also sell other synth parts) (haven’t done business with them and haven’t built or used the Big Room module, just letting you know what I’ve found online)

I was recently looking at these, but put down the keyboard and took a step away from the computer - I don’t need anymore unfinished projects in parallel!

This was the one I had in mind, good looks on the link to the tank. I like using AliExpress when possible, for some reason stuff from China just sails through customs, but stuff from elsewhere in Europe takes weeks and weeks. Who knows. I having feedback and CV-feedback is really desirable for the kind of music I like to make.

That PCB is surface mount, which I don’t really feel like I have the dexterity for. The schematic doesn’t look too bad though…

A simple circuit with a lm386 amplifier could be work too for driving it. Ideal for a cheap and basic module.

Recently I ordered an accutronics chip, if anyone has some design for it?

@Dud I have a tank too since for long time ago but never used it because Im so lazy😌
