Has anyone tried the tayda nano clone? I normally buy elegoo but they are out of stock on elegoo’s website and on amazon.

I use them all the time (there’s one running a foot to my left as I write), they’ve been fine.

thank you

(also I read that as ‘running on my left foot’ and thought you’d built a bionic toe or something)

Do the Elegoos use the old bootloader? The Taydas do, you have to be sure to select that when connecting to the IDE.

Actually… I don’t know. I’m pretty new to arduino stuff.

And when running on windows, you may need ch340 drivers for it. Basically, if loading the basic code it loads with doesnt work, even with the old bootloader, try installing this.

I also needed to install this with my cheap clones
and after everything is fine.

I googled, the Elegoo Nano does indeed use the CH340 driver and old bootloader. So if it works for you, Tayda’s should drop right in.

amazing, thanks so much!

I was about to say I cannot recall ever installing those drivers in modern times, but seems they haven’t been needed since Windows 7 (2009) so guess my definition of “modern times” is the last ~10 years. That, or my memory horizon is that long.

Any leads on finding 100k pots that are VERTICAL mount? I bought a few on amazon only to find they have no threading (doh!)

If you mean 9 mm ones we have entire topics about it

Thank you! I was certain it had been discussed somewhere. Greatly appreciate it!

Maybe because :
Currently unavailable.
We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.

Im also not 100% certain when it comes to Jacksockets.
I have bought alot of wrong ones as i just looked at the size for the cable to put into it xD
Well. Now i want to get a few ones in one order, that will be the right ones for the Kosmo situation.

If this are the Thonk onesPJ612A 1/4 inch Jacks (6.35mm) – Thonk – DIY Synthesizer Kits & Components

Which one of those sockets resembles that ?
