Aloha Kosmonauts, I’m thinking of getting the RS-9 to wrangle my buckwild percussion modules but before I do have any of yous any experience with its workflow/usefulness?
I’d be using it for the most part to trigger rhythms, totally dawless and improv.
3 months ago I was prepared to get a keystep pro before the end of the year but then this thing pings my radar.
Besides no CV pitch manipulation with the RS-9 being the biggest drawback obviously, have any of us here experience making joyful music with this device?
I mean $149 is a pretty friggin sweet deal…
Well I done went and got one from Amazon and was here today so now I need to find a place to put the thing.
Be sure to let us know what you think!

It feels like cheating ‘cause it’s easy to make any rhythm happen instantly. Before I relied on a clock divider, gate seq, korg sq-1 and a works when it wants to Euclidean rhythm generator. So far it’s gen x friendly with very little menu diving so you can keep your head in the music.
I promise I don’t work for Behringer
