Bounced my way through the checkout. Next up, I’ll have to spend a weekend ordering parts from the BOMs.

well done, you have proved your worthlessness…

You shoulda triple checked your double checking of the checklist

So you would think with a part number like 0805W8F470KT5E… it would be 470K eh?

Nope… 4.7R (4R7ohm)

So lets feed 9v to every NPN and see what happens… -_-
Time to remove 360 or so 4.7ohms from these 10 boards.

This shit had me scratching my head for like 4 days…
I stared at my files thinking I had made some routing error, as I am usually pretty eagle eyed when picking components… lol.

oh shit that sucks , are the smd’s easier to remove than through hole , less damage ?
still looks like it would be tedious as fuc .

and you thought you were going to save all that time having them factory installed ?

Oh hey, wish I’d used that jack style, there’s only one leg to solder!

Update - got all of the 4.7R’s off the board, had only 10 470k’s on hand, was able to finish off the 6 Roll and 4 Roll to test em out!
Now I have to wait for mouser for the 400 470k’s I ordered… lol
At least I know it wasn’t a routing error now

yep and if you bend them to many times they break off , you can guess how I know that .

ouch, makes me feel better about receiving my next batch of five designs and a probable fault on each.

So… I picked up some free wood out the BnQ bins thinking it would do for some panels, turns out it was only 19mm (Doh!)

Thankfully im a ‘smart’ guy…
Used a coping saw and did a bit of joinery.

Glued it all up n designed myself an 8step seq’ with space for Analog Outputs mods.

Drilled it out today and fitted the panel components to see how it’ll look…
Can you spot my error? Some ‘smart’ guy I am haha!

Thankfully it should be an easy fix =)
