wheyyy awesome!!! im glad its all ok! there is always a very nerve wracking time between putting them up and seeing successful builds! glad you like it! the shelf switch is rather strange. it just offsets the waveform to make it clip asymmetrically easier. but also makes the resonance go mental as the resonance is still normal.

the filter does have different behaviour depending where the oscillator is in the offset, I have found its best suited to unipolar (all in + territory) but still works with bipolar, if you use the Offset boost attenuvert before the filter you also get to messagings bout with the offset of the waveform and it makes it sound different here and there.

Sam, I only looked at the bom when this was first posted, but since then the link changed or something. I noticed the led is that bipolar type, is that a requirement , or will any led if that size work?

Great cool jazz sound. More please!

oh! I did update it very quickly since the first hour with jacks or something, as I did miss something

regarding the LED’s you can get away with normal ones! the top LED basically copies the audio. so it will be a mixture of + and - voltage but a normal LED should be fine! it’ll just show half the info. just the + voltages. no biggy! itll still light up here and there.

the other one is for the voltage input into the filter cutoff. same thing, normal led will just show positive voltages, but in normal use that is fine!

cool…

I need to book in some holiday and just get a few things like this sorted…

I think I’m just going to start using those bicolors in every situation. I use red and green anyway and the frosty white off color is growing on me

yep same! I’m starting to use them quite a lot. and especially for your K25 series indeed a good choice! 2 times the LED for half the space ha. which by the way when they are done! id love to buy 3 of each of them, some for my synth and some for the museum interactive synth if thats cool!!! let us know when you sort that stuff out! you doing runs or setting up a big cartel or reverb? Squarespace or something??

Hope to get the work on circuits done over the long weekend, so maybe 2 or 3 weeks to get the circuits delivered and tested, but I always make a lot of mistakes so 7/7 done done and working might be bit longer :joy:

I would be stoked to see em in the museum though I’ll hook you up eventually!

hey, quick question. C7 (VCA output) electrolytic cap - does it need to be exactly 1uF? smallest i have available is 2.2uF.
Cheers

also the trimmer - i only have 10k and 20k at the moment. cool?

the trimmers may not be enough! but it will just mean the attenuverter doesn’t go to zero in the centre, as the the cap that should be fine!

This sounds awesome, even for a phone recording, what speaker setup are you using?

I use two mackie 8” studio monitors (they are awesome) with everything going thru the TR8s or a little behringer mixer
