I was watching Sam’s POV YouTube ‘short’ this afternoon and wondered what this module is:
Any ideas?
I’m now at the stage where I can start planning more processing modules such as filters and waveshapers as most of my oscillators are nearly done.
Also curious what module he uses for his snare…

The ‘octave’ module is not the same as the VCF in the walkthrough, unless the knobs have magically moved positions.
A $90 PCB! Get out of town. I can buy a steel drum for that much. I already spent 30 on the hexinverter 909 clap.
Somewhere he explains that it’s a module from frequency central that he uses to add an octave switch to the braids. It operates on cv only. It can do more, but he only uses that feature, if I remember correctly…

I have had a KOSMO octaver on my TODO list for a long time now with two false starts (based on @analogoutput’s dacino), might have to revive that project now that I’ve figured out how to tame KiCad…
A precision added is the thing you’re looking for, and, as much as I love them, there’s definitely no 'duino required for that one (;
