This one got me 2 weeks in FaceBook Jail. I have a couple of stickers around the shop.
Everything around here is deadly, especially the Jacob’s Ladder and the open guitar amp chassis

The things people say …
Comment on the sound quality of a Behringer Model D.
So now you know. Beware of short leads in your builds (make it sound cold) and small enclosures (less resonance)!
lol like any of that makes that much of a difference in how it sounds .
Also the double o in the Moog logo sets up a resonant cavity
It really works i replaced the pressed wood on my microkorg with real hardware store oak and now it sounds like a maxikorg at least, maybe even a gigakorg.
Next i’m going to replace all components with through-holes without clipping the leads off
Bring back the old days, when trade magazines would regularly host articles by Antonio Stradivari and Robert Moog, about the best varnish for a Model D.
I noticed this comment too in the Bad Gear video on youtube. I don’t think the author is serious.
Ha, you never know. Musicians when talking about analog gear vs digital gear sometimes sound like HiFi enthusiasts, and in my experience they can come up with all kinds of BS.
Well that’s true. You never know
Poe’s Law and its inverse will be the death of us all
Only thing I find more baffling than Teenage Engineering’s marketing is their customers.
The very model of efficiency and elegance. Perhaps someone has too much time on their hands?
i remember when i could have bought an op-1 for 700 buckazoids at a guitar center. I passed on it then, and i dont deeply regret it. Ive gotten the pocket operators and had fun, but i think the things like the op-1 are just not for me. especially at that price point, its a huge deal breaker.
