Solar..... does "no compute"

So I have apprx 10 Solar Grid invertes available for next to nothing 2.5KW upwards and approx 128 12v 34wh SLA batteries sitting arround… So it got me thinking about building a solar install on the cheap… Then I thought , this is too much hard work. what would a PV install do for me.

So a £9K install would return ( here in the UK ) ~ £15,000 energy cost saving over 25 years , so deduct the outlay and hell I have made £6k over 25 years… Super.

Put £9k into savings at a psudo optemisticv 3% for 25years , return is £19K so £10K over 25 years.

Maths Done. Back to thinking about DIY Solar…

Maybee when grants were available this made sense…

@lookmumnocomputer , maybe an experiment to squeeze in between the lions and reduce ( HAHAH ) museum electricity bills. But if you can do it on the cheap it may be viable and make a video :slight_smile:
