Reset-O-Matic
a module that produces a short pulse which can be used to reset other modules.
I needed a module that I can use to reset all sequencer, counters etc. in my rack so that they all start from a known step. So far most were clocked but in essense started independent from each other. And although I have added reset inputs to most modules I built as this might be relevant in some use cases, so far I had no way to send them a reset pulse all at once.
So in essense this module generates one short pulse between 0 and 5 volts which can be taken from 6 outputs which form a passive multiple so to speak. All of my modules reset on a positive rising pulse, but as other modules might have other needs there is an inverse output and a high voltage output (up to 8 Volts) and a hi voltage inverse output. I think I may need this for the B2600 in the future.
Heck, of course this was built using a 555. Is there any other way?
