Yes, that is a good hint, I will edit and reuploaf the schematic.
I’m not familiar with these modules and their names do not make it really clear what they do. Can you explain them a bit and what are you going to use them for?
All the modules on the top row of the Kosmo rack are LMNC modules. The two on the bottom row are the BPM Clock by Circuits and Sounds. This module outputs a variable BPM for drums etc. The unpainted (white) module on the bottom row is 1 Song from BMC. This module outputs a semi random “song”. You have control over the length and time of the song. I hope that helps.
these are modules from Eurorack – Frequency Central
stasis leak = chorus,delay,reverb
polygraf = pattern sequencer
tempograf = clock
voltz platz = audio/cv mixer
click on the pictures and they get bigger easier to see .
Just finished building a KosmoPi! A EuroPi hacked to fit in 5U. It’s an open design multi-functions module.
If interested, I have excessively detailed build notes on my personal blog thing:
(I will eventually move all this stuff to my website to have a single place online that documents my projects… it’s scattered on a dozen of sites lol)
I am kinda liking the texture from the printing , artsy like the magpie euro face plates .
maybe give the face plate a " wash " kind of finish with a darker shade of the same color .
Got two builds done today and re orded the process so I can make a bit of effort on my YouTube page.
Befaco Out 1U
Befaco Mixer
Happy with my pprogress today, but my back isn’t lol. Looking forward to playin with these!
While I am swapping everything to my new rack I thought I would take a couple of photos. This module is four Barton Analogue Drum modules on one Kosmo size panel. Enjoy.
Nothing incredible here, just something I’ve been wanting to get struck off my list for ages.
The MPC one has 8 CV/Gate outputs on the back, via 4 TRS jacks. It was one of the things that drew me to it in the first place, but the position they’re in is awkward for experiments and I’d rather have individual outputs rather than stereo jacks, so I made a form-fitting breakout box. The electronics are simple/non-existent - it’s four stereo to dual-mono adaptors, essentially - but designing the enclosure has been fun…
It just slots straight in, no messing. Very satisfying. (I’ve not wired up this version yet, I’ve just changed over to using thonkiconns… The previous version worked well but the jacks weren’t robust enough for my liking!)
Nice idea , nice executuoin…
Like an ice berg, surface gives you no idea of what lies beneeth,
those are great simple modules , I really like the one I have . with 4 that makes a nice little drum kit .
Looks great! i like the blanks and whatever the dial up module does =) are all resistors in it 56k?
I was a bit confused by your patch tho. does the Rene H/LPF have a vca? i always ran it through the quad vca.
Thank you! The “dial up internet access” is just my on/off switch I made with a floppy drive. You insert the floppy disk to turn everything on and eject it to turn everything off! Who knows about the patch! I don’t really know what I’m doing, but it sounded cool so that’s a win as far as I’m concerned
jus… ju jussst!!! thats the sickest idea ive ever heard of!!
i only asked if the Rene has a built in VCA because the GRR does and i hadnt even thought about it.
