There is sometheing VERY wrong with that!!
Future panel art for the BD++ (bass drum module). Inkscape tracing is loads of fun
Update: into kicad. You’re looking at the back/hidden side here. Might do some fills but at least the lines are down
dude. all of my yes. YES.
that printed layout sheet is nice , does it make it easier to build strip board circuits ? .
The simplest is a PCB, but if you make from a schematic it helps for the implementation
although here I adapted it a little because it is made for 2 small stripboard
Great artwork, can’t have too much of that on this forum!
Nice build. I repeat: nice build (dmn 20 chr rqrmnt)!
Is it the same circuit as this one?:
It is just a matter of time before someone uses a doll and you know where the jacks will go. Saw one on a ‘Modularfest’ in The Hague in 2019. Never sure what to make of that.
Edit: Found a picture of it:
Never mind, I’ll just answer that myself: Yes. I clicked through to the Niklas Rönnberg site and saw the stripboard layout.
Simon The Magpie has a few doll builds on his channel. In this one he builds an APC head, which later ends up in the hands of Andrew Huang:
Yes it is this one, I find them effective so this one is my 3rd
you should make that the front of the drum module .
Hmm, if I moved the LED hole or put two footprints it could be reversible. Although the knobs would cover most of it anyway. Here’s my current progress on the front:
Open to any and all criticisms
thats ok but the drum kit makes for a cool looking drum module . your call you are doing work !
Nice! Are you planning on sharing the files and/or sell sets?
Yep, when I’m done I’ll post the files. Also I’ll probably order 10 if so will have extra sets
Awesome!! Then I will be able to add a little distortion output as well!
Do you think it would be a good idea to change the sensitivity pot for a trimmer, because I image it will not be changed so often…?
Also: pro reversible panel!
