This panel is really amazing.
Hi all,
So, I canāt seem to find the time to do any soldering work at the moment so I decided to prep the rest of my modules all at once.
I opted for the AS3320 filter, then the OBA, the grrr filter (super excited about that one), a mult, and a simple lfo and single pt2399 delay.
Some (if not all) holes are not aligned but as Sam said once, āmeasurements are for mathematiciansā
In the never-ending quest for that Acid sound, I finally got my RAT clone built:
Stoked with the growl out of it:
Cheers
Sounds very nice! Is it the standard version or did you do anything to adapt it to synth levels?
Did the kit include a BF245A? Thatās been out of production for about a decade now.
Havenāt done anything with the levels yet - the little synth driving it in the demo has line level out. My DIY synth seems to clip a little even with the drive way down, so Iām looking into hacking up a cable with a -10 or -20dB divider soldered on to it.
The schematic in the kit says BF245A - but the BOM says BF247, and I must admit I didnāt really pay that much attention to it when I was putting it together as there was only the one transistor footprint, so I just put it thereā¦
Thatās out of production too! Not sure for how long but looks like around a decade as well.
Hipster Transistors!
Time for some updates. Iāve added two ADSR envelope generators based on the 555. Also I added two more VCOās (one with hard-sync and one with soft-sync) and created a nice front-panel with power-indicator LEDās for my power-supply
Still have a bit of rackspace left. Pondering what to add. Probably a digital reverb!
First time using a glue-gun for a module. It works really well when you want to mount some piece of stripboard perpendicular to your front-panel and you donāt have anything to fasten it with.
And Iām jamming with it more and more. Hereās some trance:
Props for another laser cutter! I also use hot glue for pretty much all my circuit board mounting.
I uploaded a video on the polyphonic synthesizer. It has some lengths but I think it shows what it is capable of. Itās the first time I did a video with cutting and stuff so forgive its basic nature.
Some very nice sounds
Another day off, another pedal - this time a spring reverb:
Obligatory sproingy noise demo:
Cheers
looks great , your case building skills are coming along nicely .
really nice design !!
wow Iām loving your modular setup !
really nice trance session !!
Looks great! How many HP is that? Iām thinking of extending my case as well since its almost full.
Very nice build !
i think itās a Kosmo case so 20cm (i donāt know conversion in HP )
