There’s this topic for music & other noise:
Cool, here is a picture of the set up. I don’t have a lot of room and it’s mostly junk but I got sounds out of it!

discourse will inline your photo, instead of linking people deep into their CDN)
FeralBeagle,
It’s pleasant junk. I enjoyed the annotating.

This is about the 225th post n this thread. Is there an upper limit to the number of entries a thread can have? 2,147,483,647 or so?
I used T slot rails for mine, bought them off Misumi and cut them to length. There are pros and cons - they can be fiddly to set up, but you can slide your modules around without taking them out. The rails are strong asf but kinda heavy and overkill.
my hunch would be 65535 posts…
10k. Source:
If we get that close, we can just open up a new category.
Surely the upper limit is max long long !
Of course Mail Day Thread is up to 575 (only 487 of which are mine)
A limit in the code then, I would imagine it’s running inno/Maria/MySQL which has a table row limit well over 10K , which was my assumption…
Here are some sounds from it. Will this link work? https://drive.google.com/open?id=1d0M7w-sYEtgJ4ghtf0SXDdMzQe88j511 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NZhWX0ioYWwFvMNxaNBqOVSEw5JT5z5Z
Its a design decision. Forcing a low count means pulling the thread faster. Discourse seems to have a lot of metadata associated with each post according to that link i provided. It was about PMs, but i assume the same schema is used ether way, and the same justifications can be used.
Battery powered Arduino Nano + DAC board. Seems to work, now going to build it into a thing.
And yes, a couple parts got Muntzed.
dam you put both together , thats a lot of rat nest . I have 2 of the mfm’s built . both not working right though something with the power , the neg. led on my power supply dims and the regulator transistors get hot .been over them and everything looks right. I am thinking maybe a miss labled part . .
Cool! Your own design? I’ve been thinking of making a variant of my midi-nano adapter [1] with a 492x on it; might be time to do something about that (I guess I have to hide the DAC under the Nano to stay true to the form factor, though )

Well, I mean, there’s a garage, you might as well park something in it
My SMD Chip is soldered! it’s Great to have friends! He did it by hand and I will ask him to teach me when all this corona stuff is over! I am now waiting for the pcb to arrive back here to build my reverb!
