My build progress

how do you down load file its not really giving me the option to down load that folder ?

Just download the folder, grab the file from your computer. :+1:

Yes, you have to download the whole project (at least that’s the easiest way).
In your first screenshot, there is that green “Code [arrow]” button, clic on it and select “download zip”.
Now unzip that file, go into the folder that created, then go into Hadrware/PCB, zip the powerbreakout-Gerbers folder.
Go to one of the PCB manufacturer site and upload that zip.
The details of this will depend on the PCB fab you choose.

Thinking I’ll have to hang cases on the wall and get one of those library rail ladders.
Also the last of my gear came home recently including several 19“ rack cases which have rails back and front so looking for ideas for DIY rack rails and also some 'lazy Susan ’ type revolving thing so I can mount modules on both sides.

In this folder that you are in go to the top right green button and click on the arrow. It will give you a “download zip” option button. Click on that and it will download all of those files to your computer in a zip file. Open the zip file and then go to the Hardware/PCB folder and open it. Select all of those files and zip them into one file. If you’re on a PC you can right-click and say “add to archive” and it will zip them together. If you’re on a Mac I can’t help you as I barely can use a Mac to save my life. Once you have that zip file then that is the file you will upload to jlcpcb or whichever PCB site you are going to buy from.

I know it’s not super clear if you’re not used to GitHub. Message me if you have questions and I can help.

I’m sorry to bring this up but I’ve spotted a major design flaw.
It’s a common mistake on this forum which many have resolved with the following equation:

Case size required = case size planned + another case.

Haha true… hence:-

As well as the space on top of the ‘big’ boy for another Kosmo only case.

lots of great work going on as always, well don chaps

Not done much building, or designing,

Been getting everything onto GITHUB, organising everything and fixing a few issues as I go. It’s taking quite a while but I am enjoying tidying up and being able to sort stuff at home and the workshop

Just curious. I know that is what it was designed for but I have friends who use it for storyboarding for film and other friends who use it to help keep their 3D assets for projects organized.

Funny device.

Are there openings in the bottom of the case for the sound to pass through?

Did you mind the phase of the loudspeakers? If they are not in phase, i.e. do not move in the same direction when they both get a positive (or negative) signal, they may cancel (parts of ) each other’s sound out, which is especially audible as low frequency loss.
