I managed to patch up a nice acid number. I patched the output of the Korg Nu Bass into Clouds via a mult. The other side of the mult goes through the Safety Valve. There is some big drums and a strange high hat type thing as well. Enjoy.
First jam using my DFAM clone. The gate/trigger switch adds a touch of randomness to the sequence, unexpected but quite funny.
One from the ‘edge’?
Ho no, from my version, here:
Hi,
I coded up a granulator called grnltr on the daisy platform. I put it in my rack and was messing around with it, grabbed some freaky voice mangling samples, then used them to form the basis for this:
Cheers
Not really music as much as a milestone that seems it should go in this thread: with the two new modules I completed in the last two days, my Kosmo system is starting to cross the threshold from random noises to actual music. I didn’t own any commercial gear whatsoever to kickstart my modular system, so for months, it could do very little, but I always had the end goal in sight. This recording is probably the first thing that counts as a live music performance made with my machine (that you’ve already seen me post in every other thread, you know the one, it’s the one with the colors). Of course, it’s still very harsh and limited!
You’ve gotten a wonderful recreation of a drunken robot who can’t remember all the words to The Cranberries “Zombie” so just gets a few words in and then absentmindedly repeats them transposed up and down, “and their bombs and their bombs… and their bombs…”

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share this new live session we released were I performed one of my new songs “U & I”, excerpt from an EP that has been dropped on major platforms few weeks ago.
I made lot of bleep bloops with my modular in this, huhu
Wahouuu, that was really good !! Loved it !
Out of curiosity, how many shots do you need to do to make such a video ?
Nice energetic track and well recorded!
Thank you very much !
I think we shot the whole things 3 times with 2 camera angles. Sound came from the last shot.
I have ventured back down the random/self generating patch route. Using both the Eurorack and Kosmo stuff in this video. I love what Clouds does to sound. It is the end of the chain here. Enjoy.
Hi everyone.
A new live session shot last summer, with my modular a guitar and a bunch of synth.
It’s called Bibimbap cause I love Bibimbap (and also the Toms from the drum machine does a “bi bim bap” rythm)
Finally finished my modular synth (not really planning on building more). I did a quick jam using the mpc as master sequncer but all the sounds are 100% Kosmo. It has been a great period, 3 years of building and troubleshooting but I really need and want to spend time making music now. So hopefully I’ll post more stuff here (promised not recording with the mpc speakers anymore)
sounds good but " finished " LOL
Finished? What’s that then?
Plus 20 characters, some more fx, maybe a compressor or two?
Ahahah, I did build a dual compressor recently. I must say if I had one last thing that I regret not building, it would be the Valve distortion module. It sounds so much warmer than the diode or transistor one.
Two would sound even better
Then, as is usual in your ‘condition’, glance briefly at the metasonix range of products and sigh before searching for diy options (has anyone ever bought one?)
For that ‘warmer to the ear’ sound I suggest simple LC passive filters, spring reverbs, tape delays/echo and a wooly bunnet (getting chilly out there)
Go on, just one more, you know you want to!
Which one?
