Nice sound-it has a great polish and fantastic composition. +1 what @ChristianBloch says about waking up to it.
The first jam I did with a DIY sequencer, machines and bending toys, all triggered by a diy gate sequencer. I was trying to be able to control this whole mess with only one clock,
Only if you like noise !
It’s not that noisy . I like it!
for me either but compared to all the other pieces of this thread …
The Magpie would be proud!
Simon the M …, yes maybe, before Sam and modular mess, i have begining with his vids
As you may have noticed from my Ostinato 24 video’s cover, I’ve been playing around with neural style transfer. So I made a similar cover for Ostinato 8 which I linked to before. This one is based on Cubism.
Ostinato 8
nice hypnotic sound !
Modular work ?
Nope, this track was written using Ableton as slave and Logic Audio as master DAW.
Sound sources: Korg Wavestation Ex, Kurzweil K2000W, Quasimidi Sirius, Ableton: Punch and Dirty Lead, some Drum Samples
it’s beautiful anyway (even if it’s not modular)
Careful, I might start expecting a new wake-up track every day . Beautiful! I had 24 stuck in my head (in a good way) throughout several parts of yesterday.
@Dud I’m starting to blush …
and there are more tracks …
I will keep the dosage low to keep the suspense high.
Always leave them thirsty.
Really good track. It should be said.
I just uploaded my first jam to youtube:
I wanted to show it to a friend who got me into this whole digital music thing last autumn and I thought, I might as well share it here I am happy with the sounds, but my composition and my “general musicality”(is that a word?) needs a lot of work!
BTW: the video is just a short loop I recorded with my phone and not the actual video
Newest project. Not at all done but it’s something different then the stuff i normally do.
needs tons of work.
I really like this.
Thanks. Any suggestions?
sounds good, perhaps more parts to the song. Up to you really.
I would say it’s something different from what anyone does! This is unique at least to my ear, and very, very cool!
Yeah, I think my man has a point. I had a sense of anticipation for most of the side like there was a hook waiting to break in that never did-but on the other hand, that may be what you were going for. I think my expectation was a bass variation or a mid melody/sample, but it would have to equal the rest of the song in the way it stands out in order to fit in.
