goodies from tayda, mcmaster, and frequency central…
hell yeah , looks like you are ready to do some building
There’s a lot of Speakcon/Powercon and Ethercon kit around our house.
Very satisfying unless you get the cheap fakes from China (not actually seen them in a while).
The GX16 Plugs may be the solution I am looking for, I need some thing for 12-GND-12 Power Interconnects that can’t be mistaken in the normal Audio world.
The wandering Tayda package finally made it here along with some boards: 12x(2x5) power bus and ribbon cable tester
dibs on a power bus and cable tester if theyre not all called for lol.
Either you’re building something very specific or you order like I do
Can I throw in a word of caution on the powercon connectors. The ‘pull’ is too long in my opinion and they end up damaged, unreliable or wobbly and you have to use inline female connectors or mount the sockets in steel or concrete to keep them from shifting. Popular for theatres but frankly pants for anything mobile or requiring flexibility of use. I like 8 pin din, 5 pin din, BNC and RJ45 as they are cheap, reliable and easy to work with.
Last year I added a router handle rig to my dremmel tool (which im sure stopped being a dremmel a while ago). It’s now more like a hand driven cnc and makes it much easier for my old hands to handle
I’m considering something along those lines.
Do you mean 335?

Got 4 aliexpress deliveries in a row with really short delivery times: 14, 15, 18 and 17 days. That’s completely different from what I’ve experienced in the last half year (for understandable reasons). I can really get used to this!
Ah no @Jos, you’ve jinxed us all now.
I claim one power bus that might be laying around with hope the design passed the testing stage.
-Fumu / Esopus
Once I’ve tested I’ll put spare boards on Reverb.
My several dollar midi sockets turned into a $50 order because you get free shipping. Tayda order for @analogoutput Gate grinder,Mikrokosmos, Tr808 Snare, Midimuso, etc. Somehow timed it to all show up at the same time.
I am SOOOOO excited about this Midimuso arriving today! I have been waiting (impatiently) for this module. This is the one I am the most excited about. I might be equally as excited for a reverb module too
I also received another set of PCB’s from AmazingSynth for some more SMD fun. I do really enjoy SMD work. I find it really relaxing and enjoyable. I much prefer it to through-hole.
Giving in to your GAS once more?
That ship sailed a long time ago
There was a ship!!??
Yes, but they are sold out. Im waiting for the behringer clone.
