Yes the 1 pixel dot. (It looks a lot bigger in photos :face_with_hand_over_mouth:) I downloaded a symbol/footprint and just used it. Next time I’d use the standard “dip” footprint

Are you out of the sequential switches? If not, I’d love to take one off your hands…

Excellent. Let me know how you get on please.

I’m taking a page from @Riggidyboo’s book and splitting the board in two in order to Eurorack it. I’ve been a little indecisive about wether I should ditch one CV input or one audio input in order to make it fit 8HP with five jacks and five knobs. Pretty sure I’ll just do one audio in. It’s coming along nicely, though.

Ditching an audio input would have been my choise too. You’ll need the CV inputs but audio you can mix before hand it you need to.

Epoxy putty.

I think I’ll have a lot of uses for this binary modelling medium. Although it’s not as pretty as the resin, it has much better handling properties and you don’t need a mould.

Nah think I have four left! I’ll set one aside for ya.

Finally received a batch of 4013s. I ordered 10 in March, but they never turned up. Then I disputed the order after 62 days, got my money back and ordered them again. This was 51 days ago. So now after ca 113 days I can complete the dual SubOscillator I build a while ago. At the time I only had one CD4013. Now I have a surplus of 9…

That happened to me a couple times , I would get frustrated waiting for stuff and reorder . then eventually all the orders would come in . so now I have over a doz. 12 pole rotary switches [ which will be usefull in the long run ] and a few types of ic’s that i will never use all of them in this life time .

I have decided to take them with me into cryostasis. I’m betting on waking up a rich man.

I have at least 1 son who is into electronics and fixing old stuff , so hopefully the next generation will get some use out of them . I have found a couple deals from older repair people [ ham radio , home organs ] that have moved on . thats where a got dozens of bin drawers and a few not available parts .

Two Tayda orders arrived two days apart, because I ordered them four days apart, because I’m a dumbass.

The SMT components were for something I later decided to build THT, because I’m a dumbass.

The 3.5 mm plug is the wrong one for a repair I’m probably not going to be able to make anyway, because I’m a dumbass.

Yes, 8 pin Molex. Because I’m… going to need it?

Is Tayda shipping from a US warehouse for you guys? Those orders look pretty tiny and not very cost effective to those of us who get their stuff shipped all the way from Thailand.

because I’m a dumbass

Are you sure you’re in the right thread?

Tayda has a facility in Colorado from which they can ship USPS at lower cost for small orders than DHL from Thailand. ($1.35 for this latest order.) However it’s slower, and for larger orders not much cheaper than DHL.

Cory, can you set a sequential switch aside for me too please?
