i 'll show on build progress thread were the knobs and ribbon cable are going . and eventually the VCA’s when I get the 100k pots.
beautiful , except we will have to build glass cases for all these awesome back side of the panels . and if there are extras let us know
So nice! Yeah, extras… let us know
Sensor + relais mailday!
Thinking of making a cv controlled powerstrip. This way I can gate lights or some other randomn electrical appliances… For a synchronised lightshow!
@CTorp Those look absolutely stunning!
@Jokke thanks!
Hey I just got a couple of those sonic sensors myself!
No picture… But 20 50CM “TS” cables basic black jobbies
That’s just absolutely lovely!
it’s all just pure art…
who cares if any of this makes a sound, it just looks cool…
I will start making more slim cases, and just hanging them round the house. ( could start a tend in DUMMY modules…)
Rob
They make a nice sharp snare too if you just slap them on the table…
You remember when you spent ages waiting for caps to arrive only to realize you used a list from an old project AND got uf and nf mixed up? That.
Or caps arrive that you ordered for something last week and ordered again for something this week…
I was a Skinflint when it came to buying components 4 months ago, I would happily wait weeks for some 10K’s to arrive from china 6 weeks later… now it’s next day from UK…
This is bananas. As mentioned, I sold my Roland Boutique TR-9 because it was noisy and limited and ordered a TipTop Hats909 on eBay. That one didn’t pan out and was refunded, so I ordered a new one Saturday night from Signal Sounds in Glasgow with £10 shipping and here it is Wednesday AM in California!
They also show you the actual price without sales tax as you shop if you’re in other parts of the world. This module is backordered everywhere and I ended up getting it new for well under MSRP!
Probably have taken longer to get the 100miles down the road to me!!!
I think my next PCB will be one of Joe Beuckmans 808’s…
Jos , how did this project go ? I had 8 of the LF398 IC’s show up today and I couldn’t remember what the hell I bought them for ? . your dual sample and hold came up in the search , it looks like something I would be interested in building .
Tiny mouser order to build my ripples THT.
And finally grabbed a Xicon Knurled Nut Driver for those pesky 3.5mm jack knurled nuts.
First time I’ve gotten a straight up box from tayda. Was hoping for a discount code but it seems like that isn’t happening and I couldn’t wait. Got tired of needing random CMOS 4xxx and ordered 3 of like 20 different kinds. LEDs, box resistors, giant capacitors for the fartbox, and a load of jacks!
