Just ordered another 300 for £22
That link doesn’t answer when you ordered, though
nor does it answer what shipping option you used (the defaults vary depending on destination country, the phase of the moon, etc).

So I guess at least one module will be working : D

… maybe, because if there is no SMD I prefer DIY : )
well look what showed up today after 2 1/2 months wait . of course I had reordered them and yesterday after only a week and a half wait from Tayada / DHL I received the second set . oh well guess I will have some extra for future projects . now I just wish the 10k pots I ordered from Thonk 2 1/2 months ago would show up , the shit part is that they were tracked to my country 20 miles from my house 2 months ago and thats were they have been sense .
wow that got there fast!!
Take care when building the DSO modules. Follow the instructions… unlike me… LOLOLOL
I can’t figure out why but mine doesnt work lol…
I already have a second and a second round of the BOM but shit if I am ever lazy since going back to normal work schedule LOL
Sorry miss read…
Ordered “”“Order time: 05:01 May. 02 2020"”“”
So ~18 days by their cheapest method to the UK.
Ooooooooooooooooo
Ups rang me, a parcel missing the house number…
Woo…
Simple VCO, cut to size for daughter board.

Front panel for that.
Almost perfect, tiny alignment issue on pot. And unwanted ref symbols. And serial number.

Cheap Step V1 main board, unfortunately I did not account for overlap with daughter board. I realised this when doing a full redesign yesterday. Will be ok for testing. I also need to flip the arduino mega footprint so that it will plug in rather than having to find one without headers attached
Will get a VCO done over the weekend
Aliexpress delivery times
The flu has been messing up the statistics a bit, but here are mine:
N = 770
delivery time mean = 26.16 days
delivery time mode = 14 days
delivery time standard deviation = 18 days
processing time mean = 3.8 days
Bad day turned into a semi-good evening.
Not the newest machine, but I don’t game, so I’m sure this will do!
Deja vu.
Hopefully this version will work!
(Also some parts from Tayda but that may be too much deja vu.)
I think both were originally estimated to arrive next Tuesday. USPS and DHL seem to be doing just fine in my area.
If there’s anything I love more than getting new stuff, it’s getting new stuff that’s also old stuff. But new. Behold, a NOS Vector card cage kit from the 1980’s:
Not gonna lie, I thought it was 2 x 3U and I was going to use it for Eurorack; turns out it’s 5U. However, I have a set of 6U rack sides already and the kit came with three sets of rails. So now I have two more Eurorack rows AND a Kosmo card cage!:
Nearly forgot, I received a couple of AS6408 64 channel analogue multiplexer cards today. This is going to be insanely useful for creating signal digitisers such as multichannel CV-MIDI converters. They cost a ridiculous £6.70 each, contain 9 4051s, and can be polled both as 8 digital ADC output streams and as a single ADC output stream. Just add one or more microcontrollers to taste, and the whole thing can handle 20V peak to peak signals.
Thanks to @twinturbo for the heads up.
That kit you picture there looks like the No. 4. I had one of those in the early sixties, in the red and green colour scheme of the era.
She got here a week ago when I was outta town, so happy with the sounds. Still figuring out designing sounds but it’s so awesome!
i’ve been really curious about vector rails and such for KOSMO format… nice to see it happen without me spending monies haha
yeah they are blooming great as a prototype , i created a footprint in KiCad but for my own stuff now the power of being able to get stuff done in PCB overtaking the need…
just watch your Top Rail voltage for the analogue, it caused me some frustration as the Docs seem wrong…
