Can I ever collect enough synths/modules/gear that the pain of the world falling apart doesn’t hurt anymore? Has anyone ever built the wall of sound big enough that the winter of existential dread is kept outside? Will organizing billions of notes be enough of a bulwark against the futility of life’s struggle to stave off entropy? I’ve come to the conclusion that answering these questions are the ultimate excuse for my actions. In the absence of a universal human purpose, I’ve decided that to me making, having and using synths is the next best thing to a “meaning of life.”

(I’ve always been a huge fan of those old school LED buttons. I found some random chinese ebay seller a bit back and bought a bunch of them, just so I had some. And that photo made me wonder if I shouldn’t order more of them, in case that seller disappears

I dont know, but i too love them. They have to still be manufactured, all these clones hopefully dont have exclusive sourcing for these parts.

Tayda and DHL have come though again the shipping cost twice as much but the stuff was here in less than 2 weeks not over 2 months . now have parts to finish some projects that have been sitting and have parts for a couple of Sam’s new modules that are on the way .

I had made an order in March and 2 months later, Tayda told me that it was lost, they refunded me and I recommended dirrect + a few things that I had forgotten, and now I just saw with the tracking that my lost package arrives in 2/3 days: I will have the double of pot of button res transistor capa ic … in fact very long but it’s pretty cool !!!

Just curious, but when did you order, and what shipping method did you use?
(I’m a bit skeptical to all the really cheap methods right now, they usually rely on buying spare capacity for almost nothing, and not sure how much there is of that right now…)
