Why Yessir they are!

This was actually from a couple days ago. finally got my VCO’s I have had the parts for weeks. I was experimenting with using really thin washers to reduce the whole size for the smaller 3.5 jacks . it seems to work fine so far. I am thinking about making a passive 1/4" to 3.5mm patch module so I will still have use of the 1/4" jack pcb’s .

Nothing turned up today :frowning:

I have almost everything to complete each of …

LMNK- LFO
LMNK- PerfFilter
LMNK- VCO
FC- MicroBus

Just waiting on stupid little things now but I don’t want to start building a unit till everything is in place for it.

I did get some IV-6 VFD tubes yesterday ( after being missing between here and russia for 6 weeks) not really for Synth Projects, more likly for custom CLOCKS…

I suppose I should record this for posterity. Here’s my workbench with the unpopulated boards and faceplates I’ve bought so far. They’ll probably end up either in Kosmo format or in a slightly larger A5 format I’m experimenting with. There’s my soldering station and fan my son bought me for Christmas. There’s an Arduino Uno set up to program an ATtiny85. If you squint a bit you may see the Open Theremin board where it’s been unceremoniously plonked, there are a couple of Look Mum No Computer kits, I think you can see my drawer cabinets above and, below, you may just make out the Moog Theremini. It’s just a snapshot of all the stuff I’ve been preoccupied with over the past year.

There’s also an A5 blank panel made of 2mm greyboard which I’m using for prototyping module faceplates. The form factor is close enough to Kosmo to be easily adaptable, and I like having lots of space for knobs and jacks and displays.

I like how your workbench is like mine; an old computer desk covered in junk.

lol im on a old computer desk too - glass with stickers all over it haha.

I need more shelving, and more of those little drawer cabinets.

For once I took a picture of my mail haul, rather than just putting it away

Got this today for a possible Mega Drive mod, if I’m not afraid to try it. Is it the good one?

This arrived today… It was the only arrival ( well apart from the unknown package we have to drive half way across town to the post office to get…

Working my way up the scale, this is joining my DX21…

And as we seem to be sharing our work benches… (actually my 15 year old shares mine!) and he never puts anything away…

The 5 boxes stacked on top of the soldering staion are the BOM boxes for the Modules… I feel like a pharmacist when getting them all together.

And yes that is the tumble dryer, and the fridge in the background… And the oven is right next to my left shoulder…

This has been sorted in the last month, the component storage mainly units from Aldi apart from the one in the forground which is from Amazon and is frankly rather crap.

I do have a 28x12ft garage but thats more car stuff…

all you need is a 1x1 ft work area really.

That’s about all I have if I don’t clean up between projects.

Anybody know if disinfectant is corrosive to non-lead contacts?
