Got a bunch of passives from CPC for a valve based project. Got to get the transformers next, they’re the expensive part!

Besides… already spent the money for the transformers on a Nixie clock. Doh!

Think I will finish the first 6 Tube clock off this weekend, get all the parts mounted. I have a nice home for the Display once it’s sorted.

Post the results in the clock thread, I’d be interested in how you’ve mounted the gubbins.

I have been wanting the SoundForce DCO for a while, and it arrived today. I ordered it along with a DIY Clocky that I ordered and a slew of freebies: DIY LFO panel/PCB, chocolate, and a Darth Vader bottle opener!

So, you know, I recommend ordering directly

dam I am jealous , I have 2 small parts packages that have been at the Chicago hub since march 14th and another that has been here at the Detroit hub since march 15th and stuff from Sam and others to. not sure if I will ever see any of them now. I do realize the USPS is short handed and over loaded with stuff so I am trying to be patient .

Generally, UK mainland mail is working within fairly reasonable normality. I know some distributors are struggling with getting stuff out the door. what i have found is independent sellers not getting stuff out on time.

I have switched from dropping my outgoing stuff at the parcel shop to having it collected, it’s not great as it costs ~50p more per parcel and some of my items are borderline break even as it is. Also it adds maybee a day to transport. but almost everything is arriving on or before time.

Ugh…if you had a Minibrute 2S then I would buy it from you  I’ve been checking Reverb daily for one and for a Make Noise No Coast

how did you attach your board to your panel?

I hot glued the board to the printed panel. For this I added some guiding rectangles to the back of it similar to what you can see in this picture:

Hot glue ftw. Is there anything hot glue can’t fix?

I used it on more than one pair of shoes in the past to fill in the “honeycomb” in the heel when they start leaking… Get a few more weeks out of them

Or you could just buy a pair of new shoes
