ah look a baby Kosmo how cute .
Banana for scale?

Received a package from a member of a german electronics forum. I’ve ordered some spools of SMD parts, mostly 0603 and 0805 resistors. All together about 80k Resistors, enough for the next 1.000 modules
Oh yeah, got me a Dreadbox DIY kit direct from Greece. Looking forward to some quality time with the iron on this one.
Cheers
Almost all the final pieces of the puzzle for the next batch of the 1222 and the first batch of the 1114 arrived. 125 switches, 500 bipolar LED’s, 100 Nanos, 400 power cable connectors, 450 B100K’s:
ooooOOO i like those switches with the support legs and no threads!! need to investigate lol
thats all , LOL . hope you got some solder / paste looks like you are going to be busy .
Sending code to 100 nanos… I hope you have a good audiobook
Plug in a Nano, hit load, solder a pot. Plug in a Nano, hit load, solder a pot. Plug in a Nano, hit load, solder a pot. Plug in a Nano, hit load, solder a pot…
Those are sub-miniature, but they come in miniature size too.
Thanks @ChristianBloch!!! It’s gonna be a heck of a weekend!!!
Eurolz and Kosduber from @d42kn355!
How you finding the Tayda ones vs Alpha? They are half the money so worth considering?
My Mail day was less excited, and significantly less expensive than 450 pots.
Got them from RS because free next day post but was also hoping for a better grade but they seem the same quality as the ones o got from Tayda for a bit less money.
Perfectly adequate. I don’t notice a difference.
I was working on these during lunch and have found them rather “loose”. I have a large amount of cheap 1% resistors I got as a starter set but the legs on them are thinner than normal. These aren’t making great contact with the tracks, rather disappointing.
So not sure I’d recommend these: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/breadboards/2153175
The one I got from Tayda is better for $ on the £ pricing.
I have some resistors I got as a kit on Amazon Marketplace and the leads are very thin. I avoid using them for breadboarding. I’ve occasionally seen complaints about thin leads on the resistors Tayda sells but those are definitely sturdier and thicker than these flimsy kit resistors’ leads.
