… JLC failed me… Quality Complaint submitted lol.
No " the sssnake" from Thoman
But I still need more, I still had to use my guitar jack in addition this afternoon .
JLC usually takes the complaints and tosses them in the toilet then tells you that it’s your fault anyway
They probably responded and said yes, but we thought you meant to remove the order number on your OTHER items so it’s your fault. Nothing is ever their fault even when it is…LOL
I just specify my location on the rear.
Everyone has a Braids now…and i´m serching my ass of for theese f**ckng SMD components for the Eurorackversion…
Their slogan is: Build one Eurorack Braids and buy the components in 9 different shops…
Go for the THT version…

(Yes I know the DAC is 12 bits instead of 16…)
Mouser for the “exotic” components, AliExpress for the “bluepill” (it is black now…), maybe the 14 segments too as they are expensive elsewhere, and the rest you probably already have or can find everywhere.
Does the THT Version fit behind a Eurorack Panel ?
My next rack sure will be KOSMO thats a fact but i want alo one in my eurorack .
specially ordered a Heatgunmajiggy for the smd stuff…
To check the size of a gerber, upload the zip to e.g. jlcpcb and they’ll tell you how big it is (in this case, the control board is 107×79 mm and the “brain” 81×79 mm).
Okay, thats fine! The eurorack panel is 128.4mm height
have you tried acetone & a qtip?
ooohhh a nice recipe book
yeah not a cheap book but I figured a have a lot invested in my modules I should probably learn how to use them lol . I think that has been part of the problem with trouble shooting stuff , I kind of understand the fundamentals but don’t have a clue when it comes to the actual patching . this book looks like it will help .
I need to RTFM but at least in an uncertain era my Yamaha RM1x works most certainly works.

JLC Mail Day: I have bitten off enough to keep me busy for a while… it doesn’t even all fit on my desk. Sadly no discount code jigsaw puzzle with this one, but the code was “JLCfactory” if anyone wanted to use it (seems super generic).
PCBs! Don’t recall what my plans were for the big white ones (should have created a spreadsheet ) but they look great, so will surely think of something.
(protoboard gerbers from here)
Your github repo still says the Stereo Out module is untested. Is this still true? Our synth lives right next to my wife’s work desk and I’ve decided that sometimes I’d like to play with the synth while she’s working so a headphone out is up near the top of the list for me now.
Also the audio out is usually via the ES-8 which is also her computer’s soundcard so to be able to use the synth without touching her computer stereo speaker output is up there for me at the moment too… so… yeah i’m gonna “use the whole cow” on that module
