OH Grrrrr you!

Also the EIE Pro, I’d never heard of it before, what made you choose it?

is’t it obvious???

VU meters

The number of inputs, proper MIDI ports and a USB Hub.

Even at 8-9 years old they are still asking reasonable money, only wory is continued Win 10 support.

100 audio jacks, should last me for a while.
40xTL074 and 20xTL072 from Aliexpress, will see if it’s fake

Can you share the AliExpress store you bought from? There are so many!

Sure, but I ordered them before I discovered Tayda. They seem to have it cheaper. Thou here you can choose nut type.

Ah, they only sell jacks, interesting.

I rolled the dice on an AliExpress yesterday and ordered a whole bunch of 555 chips. I’m going to try building a mini-megadrone with a bunch of square waves.

Try mixing in other waveforms. The 555 is so versatile.

Today’s arrivals!

An OPL3 Duo board - two 90s Yamaha YMF262 chips in tandem backed up with all the support circuitry required and a robust Arduino library to control it, down to register level. Lovely polyphonic FM sound from it, I look forward to building something with it. (I figured it’s better to do it before the Brexit poop hits the fan for importing from the EU, which is going to suuuuuuuck…)

And a 32x8 WS2812/Neopixel flex board thing for some kind of daft sequencer or something.

Big round of (slow) applause to DPD for failing to find my house; my new work computer should’ve been here at 13:30 but the driver decided to try delivering to a very clearly empty house

LOL yeah it would seem that way , they will be gone before you know it .

How is that even possible?

I’m a bit delayed but received a couple of boards from @d42kn355 (Slew X2, busboard) and now I have the last piece of the puzzle and can finish Elements for @d42kn355

I had no idea that they even made SMD 10 pin box headers. Never seen a board use them before nor see them for sale anywhere. :exploding_head:

Not mail, but I recently picked up this Roland PA-150 stereo mixing amplifier with built in spring reverb for $35, too cheap not to.

Good to know that the people doing the manufacturing were kept under controlled atmosphere conditions. Hilarious!

Goodies to build (and some already built) arrived from @d42kn355 a couple of days ago:

Sorry to report it, but the pots are backwards as are the log/lin switches on the 2 x Slew. Otherwise works great.

lol god dammit

This is why i send shit to people for free sometimes. :stuck_out_tongue:
The pots on that one got confusing really quick because of the Headers. lol
The switch - idk, i thought i followed the schem to a T.
So Log is Up and Lin is down?
is Up and Down backwards too?
