KOSMO Setup pics

Not the best photo, but this is my current setup!

Modules are slightly modified LMNC versions, mainly done because I was too impatient for the vco to arrive  And also a kassutronics vca.

This is my tiny mixer board, but I noticed that the potis are too close together, so my knobs won’t fit :-/

Super stoked on how this bad boy is turning out!

So nice! Knobs on the ADSRs are perhaps a size too big, though…

I feel that. The switches are a bit cramped. I think these are 27mm I’ll definitely check the next size down on my next tayda order. I’m sure I’d use them eventually anyway if I switched

I really have been trying hard to stock up on all five sizes of the Boss style knobs, but it sucks that they aren’t all available in both 6mm and 6.35mm sizes. So I’ve been trying to always get the 6mm pots.

1st case, this is just to get them vertical and start working on LED inlay. I wanted to have some lights so when it is dark on stage I can still see what’s up.

Thanks, I’m still waiting on the power supply and other parts but this is keeping me busy. DHL blew up my phone yesterday so hopefully the power supply and 5k pot is coming this in the next few days. In the end these wont live in this case its not really something I would just throw in the van. Depending on the module count it will have to be a double, its to long. The LEDS are just the rope stuff from the hardware store, nothing special. The next case will have a dado channel they will be in so they wont get damaged moving thing in the case around. The handles will probably be Marshall amp handles, no moving parts for band guys to break!

Everyone should get some for their setup. Having a few cheap party lights for your home setup is a must!!!

These are cheap on Amazon and they have a remote!!! Just don’t leave them on for days the motors will stop working.

I have a couple of lengths of the RGBW versions, ideal for this job, able to be dimmed or colour changing and used as part of the ‘show’ :+1:

They look nice. Wish my brain didn’t hate all the “distractions”.

Isn’t that the point? Whenever I go downstairs I always announce to the house “Lets get distracted”

I still have my old mobile disco rig for that, a trio of Mac moving heads, some effects units and a nice green computer controllable laser. But it’s a bit much to put out in the ‘lab’ as my missus calls it though

A raspberry pi controlled, green laser harp, MIDI controller would be fun. No?

Oh if only, it’s not the right kind of laser really. More raving ‘liquid sky’ than harp strings. To be honest it’s probably dangerous at the range I get inside my house, it’s a 100mW one. Although a load of laser pens, some LDR’s and a pi might do the job…

Go on! Man up!
Program a wide spread through slits hitting ldr’s maybe? Oh and wear gloves. And perhaps check your insurance is up to date

Keybed from an akai mpk 49. Midi for the keys still work fine with everything else stripped away.

Question— how can I make use of the after touch and mod wheel data in the modular
