Hallo everybody
This is Gabriele from French-speaking part of Switzerland! My close friends call me Gabi so here we go! I am a 41 years old life long nerd/tinkerer/self-taught many things and among others, kind of a musician. I am lurking at Sam’s videos since…may be not day 1 but I can’t really remember! I decided to build a Kosmo synth to support LMNC adventure and to back to my young nerdy-disco-electro-diy period!

So: really happy to join the crew…and here the actual status of my humble Spacecraft! Wait to share the kosmo journey!

Thank you to everybody for the warm welcome! All the knobs are knew BUT the one on octave range switch! They are from an ham-fest and I was waiting for the right project to use them. I have only one left!

Thanks everybody for warm welcome. It is good to go back to the Forum method of exchanging information and knowledge instead of all this discords, fb’s and all stuff where you loose important infos after short term of time : )
2-3 months ago I went to the another forum and asked simple question - Guys, I saw these big things with a lot of cables and it makes interesting sounds. With simple components cheap these days, how much it will be to make smaller version one of these?
From todays perspective I see how naive that was and that this is really botomless hole. But this one with low money entry level, a lot of information around and also with much of simple projects to learn in. Great way to learn at least basics of electronics, what I always wanted before. And, as I see, with great community, opened for helping eachother and exchanging tips, new schemes for free and all this gold stuff. For the cherry on the top - main (community) Forum have 2 cats as an banner, as an seal of the quality for me : D
But thanks to Sam I am happy to be with you guys here. As soon I watched all the DIY videos, made long-night reaserches understanding more and more every time I planned my first big build - full DIY transport case that will fit also keys. Aiming to learn also basic work with wood (and how much good tools helping : D ) and electricity tried every step to archive my goals having in mind always low-cost and go lo-fi
I just hope that in some days I could help any entry person like me today as much you are helping me now : ) You are the best!
