I wouldnât be able to stand the sound levels at a rave for more than a second, but nevertheless, this makes me smile:

I canât find the video now since YouTube is nothing but EDM producer clickbait now, but Iâm 100% certain that the âclassicâ way of making gabber/hardcore kicks in the 1990s was simply cranking the gain on the mixer all the way up and just redlining the kick as much as possible, no outboard effects neededâŚ
