Inspiration / what u listening to

I made a “2020 on fire” playlist, seems appropriate to release this today. Its fun to make a group of songs as therapy for stressful times I think. Its fun to look back at them in the future too. Thanks for many here who have introduced me to some most excellent music this year. There is a lot of artist overlap here, but I went with my gut rather than some need to fill some kind of list quota.

Track List:
Genesis - Land of Confusion
Gil Scott Heron - The Revolution Will Not Be Televised
Matt Watson - Covid-19 type beat
The Protomen’s Cover of Phil Collins’ - In the Air Tonight
Gil Scott Heron - We almost Lost Detroit

The Protomen’s Cover of Mike & The Mechanics’ - Silent Running
The Protomen - Hope Rides Alone
Nightrunner - Magnum Bullets
Mr Fogg - Keep Your Teeth Sharp
My Chemical Romance - DESTROYA
Mr. Bungle - “USA”
Celldweller - The Best It’s Gonna Get
The Call - Too Many Tears

Some songs may be limited to different locations since they are on Youtube. I will add a track list.

Sorry about the massively late reply, i got a lil busy. Low Life is my favourite album too, my favourite song from it is “Face Up” but This Time of Night is a close second!

Funny you posted this, I just came here to post:

I LOVE Lightning Bolt, seen them a bunch of times. All of my musical projects are basically me trying to make lighting-bolt-in-a-box.

I’m just getting into them, but so far I love their energy. lol sounds like catching lightning in a bottle

For anybody into that weather channel jazz vibe:
