I listened to the Zorn/Patton Morricone collab yesterday, and the algorithm clearly got the hint:

(from 2006, but the video was posted a couple days ago by Ipecac)

I think this will be today’s background track.

I really want to learn this production technique. I love how voice artists like Lyra Pramuk and Enya assemble such complex edifices mostly using their own voices. Lyra in particular is unrestrained in exploring the capabilities of her voice, and good multitrack technique is a great tool in her hands.

When white people see for themselves what the police have been doing to non-white people, it strikes at their self respect. I think this is the first time in my lifetime that I’ve seen the signal get through to hundreds of millions around the world. There was even a Black Lives Matter demonstration in my home town, where people “took a knee.”

this seems strange to me , I lived in Detroit in 1967 . same thing , the riots though an output for pent up frustration only seem to make matters worse .
it will take much more than just " taking a knee " a good look at what we are inside.nationalists or humans ? this is a world wide problem and I have taken this thread off a deep end sorry.
ok some awesome music / message ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztZI2aLQ9Sw&list=RDztZI2aLQ9Sw&start_radio=1

What am I watching? It’s like somebody hunted out the German country band Beethoven parodies in the sixth symphony.

OYG the hours I’ve spent coding to smooth Jazz like this. I love it. Who knew you could do a musical Venn diagram with Chuck Mangione and Kajagoogoo overlapping?

Yeah, I don’t know how but the YT algorithm showed this to me a while ago. You don’t have medieval monastic metal in the suggestions bar along with this by any chance, do you?

yeah algorithm means what record conglomerate is paying you tube the most for their shit to show up first . but even with that , I was impressed with these bands not sounding to much like the cookie cutter rock / pop / rap . or maybe I liked it because it had that familiar rock sound ? or was just f…ing different from the radio dj blather followed by push the button music .
