I would like to know how to make a dual power supply

I want to use op-amps to prototype synths I don’t want to use batters I would like to have one power supply split some how. I would like to start with a 9volt + and 9- . I was wondering if you can take 18 volt wall wart and spilt the power some how?

so im starting this topic as I get a lot of questions regarding power supplies, and there are a heck of a lot of options! the great thing is with this format is the power supply is the same as eurorack. so with that in mind. you can use the options open to eurorack.
