Hi, yes, i rembered the i2c scanner script but it shows nothing readable from the monitor. Only empty small squares with question marks in between. Need to Google it. Im sure ill find a script or something that will show the address
Finally, after various errors etc, etc, i managed it to get it working. This time on address 0x61. Yay! I now have all the modules with oled equipped with screensavers. All credits to you my friend. Have a nice evening
Really glad you got them working!
What kind of quantizer do you have?
I have a quad quantizer inspired by Hagiwo’s design for a dual quantizer. It uses a microcontroller board with the same RP2040 processor, and the screen display for setting the scale is similar, but the rest of the hardware is completely different. It uses a MAX5715 BAUD quad 12-bit DAC (SPI of course!) with fully buffered outputs, op-amp buffered trigger outputs and has a dedicated EEPROM to store the settings. The RP2040 is dual core, so I used an I2C OLED (the display only changes when setting the scale) and I2C EEPROM controlled by one core, with the time-critical trigger handling and SPI communication with the DAC controlled by the other.
I posted about it and various other modules way back in November 2023 when my synth was desparately in need of a second cabinet (now it needs a third
). Details are on GitHub.
