Hey Sam! I found your Explorer Bass rework very cool. I thought you might have interest in this B2M I built a little over a year ago. It’s based on a G2M article that ran in one of the electronic mags way back. I have it somewhere… I added the Hammer-on option

Will that solve his problem where the bass strings are too low to trigger the midi?

Probably. This circuit is based on a guitar to midi converter using a pic micro controller but some guys adapted the code to work for the lower bass frequencies. I’ll try posting all the relevant info in a bit
