This modules got some neat options to flavor up a session with huh?
I could certainly see unplugging the reg sequencer at home and start a discussion with the 4051 just to see where we end up at .
This is why this shite is so addictive :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@lookmumnocomputer builders livestream time :slight_smile:

I am really looking forward to the additional information on your project page for this module, as I don’t really understand what it is doing and how it works…

I absolutely love that it is only a 10cm wide module, and it does not look crowded. Therefore it can also fit in the smaller modular cases, such as mine.

I was surprised to see eight pots vertically, and decided to try sketching that with the smallest knobs I usually use — Boss style MF-A01, 19.5 mm diameter:

Definitely too close together for my taste — it’d need to be smaller diameter knobs (which wouldn’t match anything else in Kosmodrome! Horrors.)

Now that you mention it, the knobs Sam seems to have used on the module as shown on the pictures appear to be smaller than the ones he normally uses.

It is not clear to me how the module works, and what it can/cannot do. For instance, I am not even sure whether it is a CV sequencer, a gate sequencer, or both? Therefore, I cannot really figure out how much the knobs need turning.
Regardless, it definitely is a weird module that I would love to learn more about!

Says it’s a control voltage sequencer, but there also are two gate outputs. For more we’ll just have to wait until the end of … some weekend or another?

…Perplexquencer I guess ?

Glad to see I am not the only one that was thinking of this play on words!

will be perfect with my Davies 1900h Yellow Knobs.

Yeah, 1900h for sure, but black if I build it because Kosmodrome isn’t allowed yellow…

The schematic from the linked video:

This is a simpler version, there’s no toggles or gate outs, which I suppose must be 4051 outputs through ON-OFF-ON switches to the two gate outputs. And no gate input, and there’s mention of an AND gate, my guess would be the gate outputs are ANDed with the gate input (presumably normalled to ON). So each gate output would be a series of gates that are on whenever the active output’s toggle is set to that gate and the gate input is ON. But that’s only a guess.

Just noticed Tayda has these which match the boss knob style
KN1360 ABS Fluted Black Knob 16x12mm

I got super-small knobs from AliX:
AliX 7.5x14mm knobs.

Away from home and have too many sequenzers already but I must have a thorough look at this one.

its arrived…

had to order 4081s

Hopefully have everything else in stock

Sam’s knobs look like these: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/black-rogan-knob-13x12mm-shaft-hole-6-4-mm.html.

anyone know the value of the pots?

My trusted expert says B100K , everything else is marked up with the exception of one decoupling cap so 100nf like the others.

Hopefully finsish it off tomorrow and wonder what it does
