LOL this is awesome and perfect, from what I can gather! Sucks about your internet though.
Don’t forget about epic. Definitely epic:
- Brad
- Halifax, Canada
- Pawnbrokering and General Hooliganing
- I drive my filters
- Audio Engineering & Sound Design (Light Theory Knowledge)
- Basic Electronics Repairs (I’m learning more about circuit knowledge and design though)
I just joined the forum, so I’m hoping it’s a relatively active community
First Canada resident on the map!
Really? I’m shocked there ain’t more Canucks kicking around. I’ll try to keep my country’s reputation of politeness true!
I have been to Halifax, not the Canadian one though
Welcome
Will I’m at it, here more about me:
Q1. Loup
Q2. Lyon, France
Q3. Analog Electronic Engineer
Q4. Modded blue Twingo (first model)!
Q5. TBD
Q6. I do stuff, and that’s my background, too
“Modded Twingo”
Kinda reminds me that my opening statement of my Drives is probably an under satement of what i drive and what i own.
I have CAS, but it’s not Modern CAS…
I just realized that modded would generally mean “with a turbo”, doing that on a Twingo would be silly (in a fun way)!
What I meant by that was more like “I can now live in my car”:
I removed the back seats and now I can put a whole bed (with mastress!) in it
One the the bed floor board can also be used as a table:
It takes usually 10min to convert car<>bed.
Modded can mean anything …
Q1. Jason
Q2. Yuma AZ USA
Q3. Hacker (Well, web developer but it’s a small firm and I have to fake my way through a lot more than my official job description would imply!)
Q4. Mazda 3, but have a homebuilt street legal Manx fiberglass dune buggy that I hope to have back on the road soon (never move to a house without a garage when you’re in the middle of a motor and suspension upgrade!)
Q5. Less than I used to have. My biggest skill was Trumpet - but I’ve barely touched it in 30 years. Play a little guitar, a little banjo, and know my way around a keyboard. Studied music theory but that was back when I payed Trumpet regularly and I keep finding I’ve forgotten more than I expect.
Q6. Not much different than music Got my amateur radio license in 5th grade about 30 years ago when it required more understanding of electronic theory and morse code. Have dabbled in electronics ever since. Lots of experience with building from kits, a bit less at building from schematics, some but even less experiencing with modifying existing circuits, a small bit of experience with PCB layout a few years back, and a tiny bit of experience putting circuits together from nothing but ideas. Trying to relearn much that I’ve forgotten over the years but it’s frustrating because I get bored re-learning the stuff I do remember and start to zone out causing me to miss the stuff I’m trying to re-learn
Q1. 1st Name: Thomas
Q2. City, Country: Kassel, Germany
Q3. Rough Job: Life
Q4. What do you drive: My neighbours crazy with bleeps and ploinks
Q5. Musical talent: I love everything that makes sound, I can do everything a little but none of it perfectly. At this moment I decided to play a 17 hour triangle solo to Slayers Dead skin mask next year.
Q6. Electronic Talent: I saw a video of Sam 4 months ago and my life has changed since then. I knew how to solder beforehand, but that was it. Now I am learning something new every day. And have already repaired a few things. Maybe next year I’ll be ready to design my own module from scratch.
Q7.Say something important: Fuck every president who has the name of a duck and the IQ of a toast !!
Q1. Bas
Q2. Eindhoven, the Netherlands
Q3. Manager in the semiconductor industry. Tried to be engineer, but brain too small.
Q4. 15y old Peugeot 307. Not really a car person…
Q5. None whatsoever.
Q6. Basic understanding, but learning.

I’ve played Guitar since I was a kid and got into Synths in the late 80s (mostly as a windowlicker), then Cubase “all in the box”, then a couple of hardware synths around 5 years ago, then Eurocrack, now DIY.
I find this site friendly, helpful and not at alll snobby or elitest.
welcome . thats because we are perfect and know everything …

Project Manager/Metal Sculptor

Synths and guitar
I can solder and use a multimeter
While I’m waiting for tools and parts to arrive, so I can finally start building…
I’m Paul.
Currently oscillating (pun intended) between two middle sized Slovak cities.
Psychology student, working part time as a cook, gardener and arborist.
I drive a pimped up yellow Suzuki Wagon R+.
I played guitar (don’t know if good or bad), but it started to get boring and I lost my motivation… Now I’m always humming some melodies or (being kind of fidgety) I tap various rhythms. I miss making music.
I barely have any experience in electronics whatsoever. But I’m willing to learn and I guess that’s half of the job already.
Welcome …

Q1. Aaron
Q2. Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA
Q3. Mechanical Engineer
Q4. Honda CRV
Q5. Mainly play electric guitar, but also acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and piano (took lessons as a kid). Been writing & recording my own music, looking to incorporate analog synths!
Q6. Pedalboards, simple Arduino MIDI projects, DIY effect pedal kits. As a kid I mounted a camera on a RC car and used the parts from another RC car to push the shutter button, so I’ve been crazy for a long time. Also, I took a basic electrical engineering class in college, not sure that it helped much though.
