Q6. I have experienced 220 volt as a 14 year old trying to mod an xbox. I have a gamecube from not much later that failed to work after trying to install a modchip. I tend to do before I think, which is a great learning school. So… What was the question? I would say I have basic skills/knowledge… Pretty basic though. I love the meditation aspect of soldering. And the smell of solder is nostalgic to me.

Mains is ok to work with if you respect it safely and its designed correctly
… I got an ~80V shock of a Bespoke piece of I.T. furniture once when picking up one of the PLUGS. it was found to have a crossed Live an Neutral… Whole bank of 20 units were condemned pending review/investigation.

in a face to face with the supplier
SP “I stand by our product, this was a minor error”
ME “I will stand by it, but i am not going to touch it!!”

Couple of 220 shocks will wake you right up. Just make sure to check your pulse to see if you’re not fibrilating.

At the time I even had a heart condition… So I would say I was lucky.
