I’m using this type of rotary encoders; normal knobs don’t fit onto them.
Are there specific knobs for this kind of design, what should I look for?
You want D shaft knobs

Slip it on over the shaft, tighten it up give it a twist test and you’re good to go in no time 
The dimensions should be close to these.
I think most people are using these which have a slightly thicker shaft. I’ve chosen T18 type for no real reason.
Ohhh what about converting with these. would be alot cheaper than having to rebuy.
Other retailers are available Thats just where i go.
